The Holy Spirit with Fire and Light gently wounds the soul of the sinner, opening his heart, so that he can receive the Light in the darkness of his heart. The wounding is an act of God’s Love. It must open the heart, by means of truth, and when the Light of Truth has entered the depths of the heart all the evils it has committed, shared, and kept, are revealed to the soul.
First, this act of mercy hurts, for the human heart is proud and does not desire to find itself imperfect; but when the soul allows itself to be guided by the spirit it becomes humble and takes responsibility for its evil committed by its lack of charity, for all sin is driven by lack of love for the Lord.
After the soul is enlightened, it can more simply examine itself and be aware of all evil and repair it, by asking forgiveness from God and acting in love. Everything bad that he did before will be done well from now on, in order to atone with his good deeds for bad deeds. That is a life of reparation. This holy repairing life can be possible by invoking permanently the help of the Holy Spirit, which is himself the First Mansion of Holiness, because he is who leads the soul in the life of grace and feeds it with all divine lights.
The mysterious incarnation of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary is also a gift given by the Holy Spirit. For he has been the very union of these three hearts, that of Jesus, that of Mary, and that of you. The Holy Spirit surrounds, rules and feeds with his divine love this mystical unity.
